Aim of the Educational Program
The aim of the educational program is to train physiotherapists who:
* Are equipped with the necessary physiotherapy and rehabilitation knowledge, skills, and competencies to identify, prevent, and treat movement and functional disorders, and to improve health-related quality of life;
* Can modify and adapt their acquired knowledge, skills, and attitudes according to the changing needs of society;
* Are able to generate creative and innovative solutions;
* Can work in accordance with the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals regarding public health; are research-oriented, possess lifelong learning and evidence-based practice skills, and are open to the use of innovative technology;
* Have adopted an attitude of quality assurance, can manage business processes, and are respectful of ethical values;
* Can participate within interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary working models;
The goal is to educate physiotherapists to work in:
• Public and private hospitals/medical centers,
• Special education and rehabilitation centers,
• Units related to individual or team sports,
• Public or private institutions abroad, and
• Academia.
